well heres mine... hey its a first gen! lol (ranger) 64 galaxie dash

and doing the older dashes is NOT a kit. thank GOD that they arent (yet)... but i had a BLAST doing it

I found one of those HU's in a field underneith a coat.
Looked stolen, all the wires were cut and some of the metal inside is dinged up.

Still haven't tested to see if it works though..

almost done. ill get better pics hopefully tomorrow. cell phone pics suck. its wrapped in black tweed, with fresh black accent pieces like the air vents, radio faceplate, etc..

Tweed is easier than paint. My blazer is the first one I've ever smoothed and painted and I won't be doing another one. I think tweed looks better.

to much work with messing with getting it all to form right to me. i wont be smoothing my dash, just pieces off of it. just a solid black paint.

So far the vinyl is the only thing I have yet to smooth in mine. Everything else it done and I had a spare dash I was gonna work on so the truck won't be down long but I have changed my mind and just prolly gonna cover everything.

tweed is really easy surprisingly. i tried painting it first, but it didnt come out as well as i wanted.

Does anyone have any pics of that Fiberglass Cavy Dash you could buy out of Stylin Concepts magazine awhile back? I bought one a couple years ago but its still sitting in the box untouched haha! Ive had mixed emotions on how it would look once I put it in and wanted to wait till i was 100% sure i liked it before i cut into it! the damn thing was expensive as hell so i wanted to have the chance of sellin it if i went a different route

First one is most recent but those are the only 2 pics I really ahve of my interior. Doorpanels have since been glassed as well to accomodate for the dash.
