Door panels finished.

just put my panels back in the truck late last week.
still have to order the billet window cranks.

center console and dash are to follow.
waiting to drop off the dash to the guy sometime this week.

let me know what you think.

the dash and console are both getting smoothed and painted. console will have the gauges mounted as well as the switchbox which will be removable.
as for the the dash im removing the passenger airbag switch and i already relocated the hvac to the glovebox. i wanna get a screen but the one i want is like $1000 so im just gonna mount my cd player and keep it clean and simple.

i attempted to wrap the armrest myself and gave up.

Re: Door panels finished.

Two questions. How did you attach the weather stripping? and how did you attach the two parts of the panel?

the two parts of the panel are just bonded together using a heavy strength adhesive

Re: Door panels finished.

Looks pretty good, I like it.

I just started tearing mine out today, so far it's a pain to do. haha
What kind of glue did you use to hold the tweed to the plastic? And what kind of prep did you do to get maximum hold from the glue?

Thanks, Keep us updated on the rest.
