These aren't my dashes but does anyone have any more pics of their dash setup that's similar to these? I have a 97s10 and wanna paint it soon but just tryin to get some ideas...and all these dashes on here are all amazing but nothin i could realistically do anytime soon.

I wanna keep all the stock dash components and so im just tryin to see what looks good to get some ideas.

I really like this... looks good with the entire armrest painted, not just the top half.

Random rant... I got the dark interior, Basically wanna do the same green-painted pieces in Hot Rod Flatz Twilight Black Metallic, and the rest of the interior in Gunsmoke Metallic (OR vice versa). Wanna shave the headlight switch/ dimmer for a billet pull out style... New black carpet, and vinyl or leather up the bench seat in the same stitch pattern.

The grand prix vents look amazing. How did you do that, and make the smoothed dash look stock from the grand prix?

Well the stock s10 dash isn't smooth, or at least mine isn't. Charcoal is what I have and it's got the ridges or veiny appearance. The color of the dash with the smoothness looks like just a grand prix dash on yours, if that makes any sense.

So you just smoothed it out, then how did you match the color so it looks like stock material?

Re: Custom dashes... Post Up Pics!

does anyone have a link or the name of the dude that took a stock first gen dash and smoothed it shaving everything and keeping the stock shape/lines? He took the gauge cluster out and put in gauges in the dash. I think it was like orange, or burnt orange.
