cd/dvd player for in dash lcd???

ok what should i be looking for, i want to put a 10'' lcd indash but idk what kind of head unit i need to get to play dvds too.

i was to get a single din pioneer or something to put under the 10 lcd that plays cd,dvd,mp3. do they make these or do i have to get a seperate dvd player too????

there are plenty of DIN sized head units that have DVD/CD/CD-r/MP3...etc etc and they have video outlet jacks.

I have a jvc that also has a 3.5 inch screen in it and I love it. I HAD the head unit, custom 7" monitor is console and 2 in the visors all run off the head unit

I have since took them all out except for the head unit

i dont want to run a indahs or double din, i wan to glass a 10 inch lcd in my bezel and put a normal cd player under it that i can play a dvd on

u can make a custom console to fit the deck. for now im running an ipod touch for mine. im in the process of finishing my bezzle and glassing a console for the head unit. i kept my vents b/c i still have ac.
im still working on it slowly..

i have no ac, mi bodydropped. and want to keep everything in the bezel like orangesonoma has,

Im just trying to figure out the cd player, I want to see if i can get a cd player that plays DVDs or if i have to run a seperate DVD player for the screen?????????????????
i dont want to run a double din or indash, i want to keep it a single

no there are alot of dvd/cd players out there just like orangesonomas, go to a place that sells cd players and ask for one they will have some. They you just run all the wires from the cd player to the screen.

good idea orangesonoma hasa seperate dvd player for the screen, look at the cd player were it says CD, and were its counting the song. i talked to him earlier about it.

you could always run a ps2 to a converter and plug it into a regular in dash tv and still have a cd deck...

Alpine has a SICK dvd player, with Fm and Am built in but it isn't cheap. JVC and pioneer also make one. Another option might be going with a dvd changer. Alpine has a 6 disc dvd changer that has regular component output for video and audio.

i know what you meant. I meant I have a regular DIN JVC with a 3.5 in screen. Its not a pop up screen but a regular DIN unit with a small screen but also plays DVDs and has video outlet plugs too hook up an external monitor

i want to go this route as well. i don't know what route i want to go as far as monitors in the truck yet...
