Brake release handle

I want to take off the panel where you knees touch, under the steering wheel.

Is the brake release handle going to get in the way?

Re: Brake release handle

Unbolt the panel and then it will be attached by a cable line to the brake release. I think its like a bicycle brake. I cant remember for sure but its not too difficult to remove.
