Armrest part #'s needed. Please help

I need to replace both armrests in my 95 s10. The screw holes in both sides have broke out. Don't care about the color, since it will be painted anyway. According to gmpartsdirect.com, one of the part numbers should be 15953798, but when you add it to the cart it says it's the number might have changed or they dont make it anymore. Anyone know or have access to these part numbers?

Also i need the plastic passenger side lock piece. It goes in the bezel around the door handle.

I did'nt think i was retarded. I also tried searching for 94-97 armest in their search bar and it showed an illustation but no part #.

Also, usually the armrests that i see at the junkyard have the same problem as the ones on my truck. The plastic material around the screw holes that hold it on is cracked and decayed. Therefore when you pull on it to close the door, it feels like the door panel is loose.

i had to replace the armrest in my 99 blazer, cheapest place i found was gmpartsdirect

i had called a few dealerships to confirm the actual color and part number that i needed and to check prices, i was also surprised at the price difference between dealerships compared to the list price.

you can browse the catalog. click on front door, sub catagory interior trim and they have them listed there. they dont have any part numbers or different color listings, but the right side said $24 and the left side was $16 i believe

But when you add it to the shopping cart and go to check out, it says the part numbers are discontinued or they may have changed the part number. Thats at least for the 94-97s. I emailed their customer service about it, and have yet to get a response. I'll let you know what they say.

Re: Armrest part #'s needed. Please help

the armrests for the passenger side are discontinued. Dealer and other places joked to me and said......" they don't care about the passenger"

drivers side armrests are available dealer.
On a side note. the sockets that hold the lightbulbs behind the gauges in the dash are discontinued.

I looked on the forum here and found this article and said, wow, someone is lookin for armrests too! To my surprise there are others with the same prob. I got a 94 S-10 by the way.

Re: Armrest part #'s needed. Please help

Older thread, but figured I'd jump in with a reply. I have a '97 S-10. Both left and right armrests in all three colors (beige, gray, charcoal) have been discontinued according to the parts guy at the local Chevy dealer. The left side in Gray still comes up on Gmpartsdirect.com (# 15657061) and Partsvoice.com shows a few dealers with it in stock. I ordered this Gray one and the local Chevy dealer had to get it from another dealer. I have a beige interior, so I'll have to dye this one.

Still seems like a limited supply of Gray left side armrests for 1994-1997s are out there.
