01 dash bezel on 97?

I have heard that with some modification, a 98+ dash bezel will fit a 94-97 truck. Is this possible or not?

Only if you modify it by attaching it to a '98+ dash.

The '98+ bezel isn't even close to the early 2nd gen dash.

That is what i was tthinkin. there are people on another forum thinkin they saw a mod process that would make it work.

If you modify it enough to fit in a '98+ dash, it won't look anything like it does stock. You might as well build your own.
