What is the difference between the 83-95 and 96+ tierods?

I ordered a complete steering kit for my 95 s10. I received the tie rods that are included in the 96+ kit will these work, and whats the difference?

Yes, these will work as long as you use both the inners, outers, and adjusting sleeves.

The difference is that the '96 and up uses an 11/16" thread and the pre-'96 uses a 5/8" thread.
