can i use the stock Gm fuel sender?

Hey I have the full aurora gauge set, I made a nice custom cluster for my 91 s10 i was wondering if i can use the stock Gm fuel sender to the aurora fuel gauge? I do not want to drill a hole in the tank and mount the one that comes with the kit, Any suggestion or will it work?

no the ohm range is different. it will work but it will be no where near accurate. it'll be way off.

Our tech is saying that you will need to cut hole in the tank for it to work properly.
