Re: FREEBIE Special!

I am not 100%. But I am going to assume you would hook it up just like a door lock motor. This is something I plan on doing with my 97' but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Re: FREEBIE Special!

Another question is can any key cutter cut them, or would they have to be sent somewhere special. Example, I always get my spares made at lowes, could they cut that thing?

yes, I belive as stated belowe I was drunk at the time of the post(only logical thing i can come up with for a post that bad). What I was trying to ask is I am going to replace the computer on my shaved door kit. It has an alarm built in and it so agervating i just pull the fuse when driving(lights would start flashing and what not), had to disconnect the horn alarm was way to sensitive. So I was asking about getting a key fob with just the purchase of a computer for the shaved door kit as I have 4 perfectly functional acutaters. but this really doesnt matter now as im like 18 days late on even getting an order in. sorry

I will still honor it since you were drunk . You will need to purchase a keyless entry system first. How many channels do you need?

Re: FREEBIE Special!

need at least a 4 channel i have a crew cab. would love to be able to remotly lift and drop the truck but dont know how well that would work at. One time I rigged up a setup to do it but i had to use so many relays it wasnt pratical. the set-up is a FBSS so it had 8 relays so that it wouldnt backfeed all the valves when using the ten switch box. I think for it to work, to open the four doors and control the air i would need a 12 channel system. then run a completly seperate alarm system. I probly sound drunk again but this time im jsut sleep deprived

When using the old 10 switchboxes it can be a hassle! Have you checked out our AIR COMMAND (click here)? You can control your air suspension via remote with no extra relays. Here's a video of how it works

You should only need 6 channels to control 4 doors,UP and DOWN. We do have a 8 channel remote system. This way you have two extra channels in case you want to add something else. Click here for 8 channel remote system

Re: FREEBIE Special!

i was thinking the 12 chanels would control each valve independently with out having to wire in 8 relays. as the valves dont require alot of power the output from the keyless entry box should be suffecient i would think. that would be the 4 outputs 1 for each door then the 8 for each conrner up and down. not reall big on the digital controlers i like my 2 switches on the dash(pulled them from a 10 switch box one for front and one for back)

Sounds like you got it figured out. We have our 16 channel with BIRT. Click here Closest thing I have to 12 channels. S10Forum discount would work on this product.
