shackle question

Can somebody give me the measurements between the two holes (center to center) on their 2 inch shackle lift. I'm fixing to raise my first gen and need a good starting point. I don't see the need in buying them when I have 2 inch wide 1/8 inch thick bar stock, a cutting torch, and a welder here at the house.
