rear bumper

how do you raise the back bumper on a 98 s10 after a 2 inch body lift?

do i need to buy brackets? or can i just do some cutting/drilling and small moding?


its been acouple weeks after the lift and its getting annoyeing seein my bumper so low. to where i see my spare tire.

i just flipped the brackets that holds the bumper on. so instead of moving them down it moves them up.

Did you buy a new kit or a used one? The body lift kits include new rear bumper brackets (at least for the 2nd gens). You can't use the bumper to tow after that, but at least it gets the bumper where it belongs. If you bought a new kit and it didn't come with the new brackets, call whoever you purchased it from and have them send you the brackets.
