i dunno if you mean on the frame george but i mean on the fenders esp with offset rims. my 31s till rub on the fenders and i trimmed my fenders (obviously not enough). i just dont see how 32s dont rub much without trimmin?

I dont know what I meant when I wrote that, I think i was still drunk. However now that I look at the page before I see pics of the truck and those haveto rub. I could have rubbed my stock tires if I tried hard enough. Unless he drives straight everwhere.

Re: Post Pics of Your Ride!

Well since everyone is posting pictures of their 4x4s, or imagining what it would look like as the case may be, anyone interested in a high pinion D30 set up for leaf springs. I have 4.10 gears for it. Would be a good little setup if someone is looking to have a little more ability than IFS.

Just a thought anyway....
I've also go a 8.25" rear if you want that 7.5" out of there.

BTW, the shackles in that picture did look humongous. I think I laughed out loud when you first said they were only 1.5" longer than stock. Haha

I think it'd be cool to lift my reg cab 2wd. A regular cab prerunner would be fun, as for the 2.2L gearing or engine swap... But I live in idaho, no flat areas, it's a dessert but nothing but rocks, only one sand dune close by. so I'm trading my 2wd s10 in for a 4x4 s10. I've taken my 2wd reg cab off road a few times, it was fun and once I put the bfg all terrains on it's doing pretty good trudging through the snow as long as I didn't get in snow as high as the frame. I need a 4x4... Here's my ride for now though.
http://pictures.greatestjournal.com/...geQuality=Full

The 215/75-R15 tires do rub at full turn, not to bad, just get some vibration and thump thump thump

hope I can get the 4x4 to look as nice as this one does, I get a lot of compliments on the truck, but it's still a 2wd 2.2... So all show and no go

Re: Post Pics of Your Ride!

It looks like some of you have already found it, but I'll post a pic and some specs for ya of my truck

It was an 84 2WD that we converted to an sfa 4x4 with 93 sheetmetal. Its got a .040 over 350 with a mild cam, flat top pistons, edelbrock intake, and demon carb. Backed by a 350 trans to a jeep 208 x-fer case. The axles are out of an 85 jeep grand wagoneer, which are a dana 44 front and amc 20 rear. And it is sitting on 35x12.5 pro comp mud terrain tires.

Re: Post Pics of Your Ride!

I am new to this forum but I love S10's and my baby. Well here it is. I love to "prerun" it all the time. I live in the desert so it is easy. In the future I have $$$$$ for it so i can do major "prerunner" upgrades to. Well I hope you like it as much as me. I am an Army member to this site. It looks awesome, great people. Thanks sapperb

Re: Post Pics of Your Ride!

here is kinda a time line of my truck LOL

lowered, the redneck way. Cut coils and some cheapo blocks in back

I then lifted it back to stock height b/c of the horrible ride and this happened

I fixed it all and put a set of 235/75-15's on it

then I put on a 5" lift, still waiting on getting some 31X10.5's
