2002 s100 2" home made lift shackles 1" t bar crank 265/75's, cherry bomb, spray in bed liner, push bars, dual fog lights, cb radio,

soon---back to 30x10.5x15's. hood scoop. dual exhausts

No, I was referring to the fact that the alternator on the 4.0L is at the very bottom passenger side of the engine; worst engineering idea ever for a 4X4. The fact that it's body-lifted just exacerbates the problem. The alternator is almost even with the oil pan in the XJs, right where bogging through the mud or making a moderately deep water crossing will constantly shower or submerge it.


Afterthought: it probably doesn't have the 4.0L in it anymore, given the rest of the modifications to the truck.
