Epic 454 powered S10 & minitrucks

I went to lower NH to pick up a snowmobile yesterday and came across this on the way....

There was more engine under the hood of this truck than all my vehicles combined

It's in Epsom, about three hours away from me.

Yeah, those minitrucks are completely road legal - they're freaking sweet.

Re: Epic 454 powered S10 & minitrucks

That S10 is awesome.

The white pickup version is very common here. A kid at school used to get his dad to pick him up in a van version of that. We all laughed.

Anyone ever see the Quigley vans?? The manufacturers send em right to Quigley and they get a SAS with a Dana60 front.

Re: Epic 454 powered S10 & minitrucks

after researching them they are not road legal(not sure how the guy in NH registered his)
they are limited to 25 mph
and the epa is trying to ban them they already cut down on the importing of them
dont know why its like the same size as a smart car

Re: Epic 454 powered S10 & minitrucks

Probably the only reason they're not legal is because of our strict emissions over here. Most people probably buy em for farm/hunting/show vehicles. So in that case they dont have to be inspected or anything.

Re: Epic 454 powered S10 & minitrucks

WVU maintenance uses them here in Morgantown, they are everywhere. they are legal here on all back roads. You just cant use them on highways ect.

NH and VT don't have emissions so almost anything will pass, you should see some of the shit on the roads up here.
