Re: brush guard questions?

ZR2 frame rails are different. It won't fit unless you modify it. You got a pic of it?

You or someone you know have a welder? You're going to have to modify the brackets to make them fit your non-zr2

Re: brush guard questions?

Yeah will be cheaper to mod it to fit. Hell its already black so you can just repaint it.

Re: brush guard questions?

Most mount under the bumper. IDK about that specific one. I think the ZR2 frame rails are wider (farther apart). If that's the case (and I'm sure someone will come along and confirm) try swapping brackets side to side. That would put the mounting flange on the inside. (Or maybe it's the other way around. You know what I mean.) You might have to widen the mounting holes (where the grille guard bolts on to the bracket) but it would be cheaper than having new mounts made. If that doesn't work, find a local metal working shop and have them cut and bend new brackets. I'll bet that would cost less than $50 if you supply the templates. I had to do this when I put a body lift on my old Jimmy. It only cost me about $25 but that was a few years ago.
