Re: a little sneak peak

the kit will be 95% bolt on. there might need to be welding done to the axles, to relocate perches to spring over. there might also be cutting involved to clear out some of the old IFS stuff, but i wont know exactly what till i install it on an unmolested truck. but all the crossmembers and such are bolt on.

as for price, we dont have anything set in stone. things like what is included in a "kit" form verse just individual parts could change the price of said kit dramatically. but i will say it will be cheaper than a new IFS lift. the kit will be tailored to those that want flexibility and are able to make their own decisions on what lift to run and such. there will not be a set lift amount or anything like that, because it could change so much based on parts that the consumer would have to choose for themselves like springs.

Re: a little sneak peak

hey donahue, You should make upper control arms or spindles for the front on 2wd s10s and an axle flip kit for the rear.

UCA's, perhaps but i doubt we will. the spindles are a cast part and not really in the realm of what we do right now. the flip kit, certainly, we already have perches and spring plates. we are mostly concentrating on 4wd stuff, specifically solid axle swap type stuff. there are already companies out there mass producing the parts you want, and i could not compete with their price.

the latest is, i'm waiting to finish the rest of the truck so i can go abuse it. its scheduled to hit the rubicon the week of the 4th of july. depending on how it does, and a few small other things, it should be ready to go soon. you can follow the progress of the test truck here: http://www.s10forum.com/forum/f134/8...-rocks-325756/
