Rough Country lift springs?

Has anyone tried the Rough Country 3" lift Waggoneer front springs. (should be the equivalent of the Rancho RS44044's) These are much cheaper $. I found the complete lift kit w blocks on E-Bay for $335.00 (buy it now) This kit includes springs,4 shocks, u-bolts etc. I dont know if the shocks would work on the S-10 SAS or not. If just the springs, U-bolts, and 2 shocks would work this would be a great deal. Any experience w these springs?

Re: Rough Country lift springs?

If you run the waggy axle you can use all the ubolts and what not. If you aint using the waggy d44, then just buy the springs. You might want to check with 4wdjoey before you buy them from where ever. Im pretty certain he has a better deal.

Re: Rough Country lift springs?

^^ was it for both springs or just one? I bought mine directly from summit and they cost me 150 a pop.

Talk to 4wdjoey, he works at 4wd Factory and will help you out big time.

Re: Rough Country lift springs?

The Rancho's are sold individually. 335.00 sounds great to me for 4 shocks, 8 U-bolts, 2 springs, blocks and hardware. I am just checking things out and wondering if anyone has any exp. with these Rough Country springs? What is a good price to expect to pay for a pr. of RS44044's? 4wdjoey??

Re: Rough Country lift springs?

I used the 3in rough country because of the heavier SBC motor. They seem very stiff and alot thicker springs then the factory waggie's.
