nevermind, a guy down the street will do it. and brandon, he didnt say anythin about the SAS

just need mud flaps, lower my front bumper, front shocks, and put some stock tires on it

in PA the bumper height is 16-30 inches

nice... although i just replied to your myspace message.

i'm surprised that they didnt say anything about the sas... if i were a garage i'd be more worried bout someone altering suspension than how far their fvckin tires stick out.. oh well.. glad ya got it stickered!

it wasnt a dyno test for hp and stuff lol, it was something for revving the engine or something i dont remember, dont quote me on that lol. but idk if you guys are familiar with a turbo timer, but my friend was told that his car was broken because it didnt turn off with they took the key out. they also stalled his car 3 times.

haha, thats the key word..

mine went smooth because i researched it for 2 months before turning a wrench on my truck. it also helped that im a certified welder, so i can make, think out, and fabricate things such as the mounting brakcets, axle perches, front x-member, tranny x-member, shackles, and a drive shaft.

this kind of shit cant be takin on by the everyday person.

but thanks for the props. and glad i encouraged you to do yours! ask me if you have any questions!!

Re: Project: Fix to busted CV shafts & wheel bearings! 56k no no

i will man..i ma a certified welder as well..and have fab skills only thing im worried bout is the drive shaft, the rest i can build pretty much liek you did..and i would be worried about the lining up of all the springs and shit to make sure everything isperfect

yea i got them....what about steering ? how does that hook up? does your push button 4x4 still work the exact same? my truck has 46k miles on it..it is a very very nice truck..i dont want to hack it up...

haha, mine was nice.. but its nicer now!!

steering, i used stock tie rod, drag link from the 91 axle, and like a 06' rubicon pitman arm (heated up and bent) until i get a drop pitman arm from a jeep, they bolt right on to the steering box (i will eventually do i think cross over steering)

well, for the 4x4 when you would push the button, it would engage the t-case and front diff at the same time. as for now, my button only engages the t-case since i do not have vacuum hooked up to the vac loc on my axle. (dunno how to go about that yet) and im not too worried about it right now, since i dont have my DS on or gears.

exactly what im talking about..i do not want to mess up my truck in any way shape or form ...not sayign this is wrong..but it is not close to a stock setup ...i dont mind a IFS, cause my truck will prolly NEVER see mud, but, im not crazy on spending 2000 for 8 inches of lift....NOT counting wheels and tires

SAS is def cheaper, stronger, more realiable, and just badass.
IFS is blah, blah, blah, and blah.

but you mentioned you dont wheel yours alot, will it be worth it to SAS?

KMC Rockstars FTMFW!!

i think they would fit, might rub your frame a lil. (i dont know much about wheels)

and is your s10 a Z or reg? i dont think you will be able to get 32's with that type of lift on a reg s10. althou im not certain.
