to make a long complicated story short... my nephew was getting "kid napped" by his own father who was not supposed to have him because of a protective order (he is now dead from drug overdose) I stood in front of the car to stop them and was ran over the cops didn't even file a report because i stepped in front of the car they gave me a "event number" and told me even though it was technically a hit and run... they would do nothing

so for the news tim best of luck to you and your family. i sent the money out yesterday

i'm telling you, the west coast is where its at. OR has like the second worst economy right now, and welders are still $12-20 an hour. our minimum wage is above $8 i think.

Probably. You're probably gonna have to limit the travel of the ram though. The 8" stroke will probably be a little too much and the 6" rams probably wouldn't be enough. I think they talk about how to limit the travel of the ram in OOBER's thread on ZR2USA.com. Might wanna check that out.

alright, ill have to do that.
so i can get a ram for 145 and a "new" steering box for 90 so i can prob get hydro assist for under 250. then my drag link for 100? right dave?

so 350 for new steering. jesus. haha.

You're gonna need a cooler too. Plus the lines and fittings. So I'd say a little more then $250.

Drag link, probably about $35 for the tubing, $30 for the threaded inserts (by the time you pay the shipping), and about $50 for the TRE's.

Where do you get your metal from??

For the DOM tube. My metal place is fvcking rediculous on there metal prices. So I just buy mine online.

I look at it this way, if it has to do with trucks, booze, or whores, no post is useless

Re: Project: Fix to busted CV shafts & wheel bearings! 56k no no

I got mine for like $10 a foot from Ballistic. Theres a guy on Ebay who sells it too for a good price. I was gonna get it from him again but Ballistic had everything I needed so I figured why pay 2 shipping fees.

Heres Ballistics site

http://www.ballisticfabrication.com/

You'll need the 7/8-18tpi tube adapters for the TRE's

Oh yeah, you can get the Pirate4x4 discount by typing in "pirate"

NICE!!

Told ya to put some good joints in there. Or did you?? Let me guess, both joints broke and took the ears off the shafts at the same time.

Nice stuck and carnage though.
