I still have no clue where the water comes from. After a heavy rain I always have a puddle on my passenger side floor.

Id say assist... well maybe not. I think all you would need more for full hydro is an orbital and a few more lines. Regardless, Im going full hydro. Im done with steering boxes and pitman arms. Plus Im gonna be turning 40's. I still gotta do some more research.

thats what i was think.. itll be tough to turn locked 37s. plus steering boxes suck lets just say mine is keeping my nut lubed up on the pitman arm

would it be worth going full hydro on a D44

It depends on how your steering is working. Are you getting lock to lock with no problems?? Hydro assist is plenty for turning 37's. And if it ever fails, you'll still have a way to steer. Full hydro has no mechanical linkage so you're fvcked if you blow a line.

exactly.. full hydro seems easy to hook up..

time to research

Besides for a little more money, I think full hydro is definitely the way to go. No more drag link, steering box, or pitman arms to fvck with. The only issue with it on a 44 is the weak ball joints. If you get really bound up, you could very easily break a ball joint.

Re: Project: Fix to busted CV shafts & wheel bearings! 56k no no

It depends on the parts you use. But minimum for assist, I would say somewhere around $200-300. Full hydro Im not to sure on. Alot depends on how much you can get the orbital for.

Id go search over on Pirate.

ugh, search for me! hahaha.

if i do hydro assist then i still have to make the 100$ drag link. if i go hydro, i dont have to make it

Im gonna start reading this. I did a quick ebay search on orbitals, and theres all different kinds with different outputs and shit. Gotta match the ram and the orbital to work good together.......On to reading

I've looked at it a little bit, and hydro assit/full hydro setups don't seem that difficult. And Tim, your truck fvcking sucks to turn!

Keep in mind that full hydro isn't street legal or safe at speeds, so if you want ot drive it one the road then go assist. I was looking at JWGlovers assist setup a little over at Disney and that's what I'm gonna do.

Sad thing is it will probably be one of the safest vehicles on the road. Cause everything is either new or rebuilt. I dont know about your area, but there is some hacked up pieces of shits on the roads down here. Then combine that with the highest drunk rated county of the state and we got some problems
