Approximately how much transmission fluid is IN the cooler when it's cold? Any idea?

Re: Project: 1995 s10 SAS
Last time I changed my radiator i didn't even have to add any trany fluid. It only holds a pint or two. It is only a small coil in the passenger side radiator tank. You should barely be able to see a drop on the dipstick. Unless you have an external cooler then it could be 1-3 Qts.

Re: Project: 1995 s10 SAS
I have a small external cooler that is about 3/4 of a quart. But the tranny has been leaking since I got it replaced, but now I know where it's leaking and the mechanic says he'll cover it once I get the radiator done. I'm like halfway done with doing the radiator and water pump, I just gotta relocate the oil filter and then reinstall all the new stuff.

Re: Project: 1995 s10 SAS
Are you moving the oil filter back to block removing all the remote crap? if so see if it makes a difference in your oil pressure. I've been wanting to relocate mine for a while since it leaks every where, but I'm hoping to pick up a little more pressure at idle with it gone.
