Re: Lets See Your SFA S-10
good set up but is the front axle passenger drop? and you wont see much flex out of those springs unless you pull a leaf or 2 or soften them up

Re: Lets See Your SFA S-10
the springs should flex well enough. the steering however, unless the previous setup was crossover, you are still going to need to do some work to get it to work.

Re: Lets See Your SFA S-10
just to let you know, a rough country lift kit is going to be fairly stiff. those kits ride like tanks on a full size, they are going to be worse on an s10.

Re: Lets See Your SFA S-10
Helton it looks like your truck means business...now for some springs and steering linkage.
Just a recommendation...find a different way to lift the rear. The comb. of spring over and lift blocks plus your V8 is gonna make for some mean axle wrap.. Good luck...at least you're making some progress...unlike me, I'm too broke to do anything right now....dangit ![]() |

Re: Lets See Your SFA S-10
Yeah it does. Waiting on some parts to come in from sky manufacturing then i'll get to finish the front.
I do plan on gettin' rid of the blocks in the back, i got the 4 in lift kit and all the whells/tires from a guy for only $200 so for right now as i do the swap they will just do fine. I couldnt beat the price. thanks! I'm doin all this one pay check at a time. I'm just a server in a little pizza shop, and i'm havin to do all this with just the basic hand tools and a grinder with a cut off wheel. People said i couldn't go thru and finish this project in the beginning, now they are sayin' otherwise. haha |

Lets See Your SFA S-10= Lets see your completed SFA S-10, not Lets See Your In Progress S-10. Is that so hard to understand??? ![]() |
