holley truck avenger

anyone ever heard or used a holley truck avenger. was wondering how the perform and if worth the money to buy and do they really work on the high angels

yeah they work great! im actually trying to trade my Barry Grant Road Demon carb for one right now... good choice if your going with carburetion... a better choice would be to look into the Holley Pro-Jection EFI units, they are about double the cost of a Truck Avenger... but well worth it for a lifted truck

I have a edelbrok 600cfm on mine, not sure how it does on high angles though. Guess i will find out

I also have a edelbrock 600 on my 70chevy but i put the off road kit in and readjusted my floats(suprised how much they where off out of the box) it does really good on angels takes quiet a bit to flood it out, but i know the truck avengers are supposed to be the thing to have, well for a carb beings i don't have the money for a injection setup yet

not really sure on price, ebay they are all running in the 300 range but if a person looked more im sure you could find a deal but depending on your angles you want to run you can make that edelbrock perform pretty well

you can buy a Holley rebuilt unit for cheaper at most parts stores.
