Differential/Drive shaft question.

Will a S10 differential end fit the 4 hole style toyota diff end? I was wanting to run a S10 drive shaft any ideas?

Re: Differential/Drive shaft question.

i personally dont have any clue, but, napa has an awesome ujoint cataloge, and i got the right yoke for my 8.8 swap just by knowing what the rearend/pinion flange came out of and then just found the correct part number. Then the guy walked back and brought out the right conversion ujoint. Check with them. Im pretty sure they aren't smart enought to look it up in the cateloge, but just snatch the book away and you will figure it out.

yeah...... it's gonna need a bastard joint. Napa or Car Quest are your best chances of finding what you need.

Re: Differential/Drive shaft question.

Well that u/j did not work. What spline are the pinion yokes on the toyota axles? I was thinking maybe trying a diff yoke that would bolt up to the S10 syle u/j.

Re: Differential/Drive shaft question.

You would have better luck having the yoke at the rear of your driveshaft changed to the Toyota driveshaft yoke at a local driveshaft shop than you would fitting the Toyota rear end yoke on your S10 rearend.

Re: Differential/Drive shaft question.

Having a guy make one now, he is doing what you said DieselS10, he is cutting one of the s10 ends off and putting a toy end on. I hope this will hold up cause i don't want to have tons of others made. he was telling me that the toy flange was better on the rocks than the s10 but i'm not planing on crawling with this just a trail rig. I also lucked up on some 35 12.50 15's for 250$
