That ain't bad, I used to bend my rear shaft occasionally when I had the low slung 9" rearend and it would cost about $100 just to have it re-tubed.

Do you mean articulation or compression, because thet really only twist during articulation. And I really can't answer that question either because there are to many variables like spring rate, shackle angle, shock length, shock mounting location, etc.

how much dammage can i cause if i dont have a bushing between where the front shackles connect to the frame?, i noticed yesterday that i have just bolted the shackles to the tabs i had made with grade 8 bolts

will it last a week worth of daily driving, since i just got my tires on and my drive shaft comes in tomorrow, i want to do some road testing, just getting it up to speed and seeing how it handels, but if its at risk to snap something ill hold off on testing untill i get the bushings

what do you guys do for you e-brake cable, i know its been discussed on here somewhere but with out digging up something dead i figured id post again. i went to install my cable today and ran into a snag, my trans cross member is in the way and so will my front driveshaft when it gets installed. anyone have any suggestiong on how to move it out of the way but still have it functional? i would say screw it and toss it out but here in mass there picky about there "safety" equipment.

run a camaro handbrake like im doing in my 92 bagged truck. weld a mount for it right above your driveshaft, and then run the cables. so much easier. one hole through the floor big enough for the cable end, and you're set.









mind the welds, i ran out of gas when i was welding. i got some more and went over them.
