Hey Donahue can you get me some closer pictures of your front bumper? I want to do SOMETHING like that with mine but with square stock. Like how/where you mounted it. THANKS!

Re: 89 SFA buildup for rocks
![]() getting pulled by the winch line for a few miles of jerky, bouncy trail when i had to pull the rear driveline. we will be adding material back to the rear of the crossmember (thats where it tweaked) for the next ones we make. |

Re: 89 SFA buildup for rocks
I'd like to add that the S10 did freaking awesome on this trip, and the SAS kit available to you guys will be bullet proof. The only weakness was brought on by getting yanked by a big K5 over some rough stuff. It was very jerky, and not a good practice. A person should always tow someone with a strap, instead of cables or chains. Anyway, this weakness was recognized, addressed, and will not be an issue on the kits available to you guys.

Re: 89 SFA buildup for rocks
Just wondering but have you considered offering a kit to replicate your 4 link setup in the rear? I realise there would need to be welding done on the axle but possably having the frame mounts for the link bolt on? I could be taking a completely wild swing on this one..

Re: 89 SFA buildup for rocks
ha ha grandpa had 3 jeeps and i wanted one vs watchin it go..had a 350 vs the other one he wanted to sell with ford 5.0 motor..
im just really tossed on if i wanna spring over or get actual lift springs...and found a d44 for the front to get rid of the drum front brakes..and thought id keep the d44 in the rear.. also have d44 and d60 hd out of a 70's something ford truck that came with my jeep when we go it but i dont know if i want it that wide...what you think |

thanks AVdime
project87sdime: your CJ should have passenger drop axles, its likely that the ford axles are not worth the work. |

Re: 89 SFA buildup for rocks
we are working on getting the kit ready, we still need to get some quotes back from the laser place. this will likely do a lot to determine when, how much, and what comes in this kit. so, all i can say is its long over due and i have not forgotten about it.

Re: 89 SFA buildup for rocks
Hey Devin, let me know if you want stickers made for your company. I can only make cut out type stickers (not ink printed) but I can give you a killer price. Kick me over a design that you want and I will work on it if you would like.

I like the idea of the xcab and tube bed, but like the blazer better. I quess because it's different, I would have used a blazer if I could have found a solid one.

Re: 89 SFA buildup for rocks
yeah, the pickup cab makes sense for getting an environment back. the wife likes heat and doors. it would also solve a lot of problems the truck currently has with the rear suspension and exhaust.
