what s10 do i have

I am new to the s10 forum and i bought a 1995 s10,4.3,ex.cab,4x4 the s10 has sport wrote on the side but it has the fender flares and heavier sus. the the stock 4x4 s10. did they make a zr2 in 1995? and the truck has no zr2 markings so please help? IT CURRENTLY HAS 31X10.5 with the tbars cranked

Check your RPOs

If you can get a side pic that shows the front hanger for the rear spring that will tell us.

Also on the inside of the front fender it will be stamped ZR2 towards the top rear.

But they are deff Z flares as the bushwackers dont have the bumper flarette.
And its a bitch to put them on a non Z. So im sure its real...

you sir, have a ZR2. (the front flare-ets gave it away) join zr2usa.com and youll find usefull info just for our trucks... and cheap parts.

Thank you uys for your help its weird there is not one marking on the truck that says zr2 but i noticed the truck came from factory with 31x10.5

most of the time it was up to the dealers to put the "zr2" decals on the bed of the truck. so alot of them were sold without them. especially the GMC "highrider" zr2's... most of those did not have the decal. if you look in your glove box there will be a sticker with RPO codes on it. all 3 digit codes. you should see one that says "zr2" for the suspension package, and one that says "g80" for the rear locker. also if you look in your fender wells up front there will be a backwards "zr2" stamped in the wheel liners right next to where the flare meets inner fender. and not sure on the older ones, but the big white sticker behind the distributor/motor should have a big "zr2" on it also.

Yes, easily. with a core support change, wiring change and hanging the parts, its pretty straight forward and easy...Buut why the hell would you?

where did that even come from? the truck IS a '95... and it IS a zr2. your right, someone could have put an older front end on a newer truck, but the dashboard would be a dead givaway. completely different dash's after '97. but they started making zr2's in '94 with the new 2nd gen body style change. most of the '94-'95s were single cab, especially the '94s

Thanks guys i checked the codes and it was stamped zr2, i know its weird most 2nd gens i see are single cab not ext.
