vett wheels with mud tires ?

anyone running this combo...like the 17" vett rims with say...245-75-17 tires (i think it equals 31 10.5x15) just wondering if the offset will work with big tires on it ...thanx

I havent seen it, but if you stay with 17s I think ital look fine.

Ya just dont get 20's or something stupid like that. Ive seen way too many low profile mudders come through work it pisses me off. Nothing like seeing BFG AT's going on 24" rims

lol yeah i can see that...it would look like somone glewed rubber chuncks to there 24" rims

do u think the offset will work ok with a biger tire...the plan is a few inches of bod lift and maybe "big maybe" suspension lift...

Just for reference, these are 31x10.5x15 on my dakota.

good lookin truck there dickeydoo...i am familiar with the 31's had a set on my 95 blazer what i was referencing is a tire that has an overall size similar to 31x10.5 but using a 17" rim...and i wasnt sure if the vett/camaro 17" rims had too much of a wron off set to make that work?!?!

Well if it helps you any i have 17x8 eagle alloys off my 94 formula with 265/75/r17 buckshot maxxis mudder tires (got them free), my blazer is a 87 with a bodylift only, and they touch frame at full lock, they might hit my fenders if i turn while hitting bumps though. Hope this helps.
