Re: Revolutionary Idler arm

YEP! I had sent it off to Kristian over on the zr2usa site and he has installed it on his rig: (BDS 5", front locker, 33's) he took it for a run on the trails out his way and it worked great. After a little more testing I will be ready to get these things made.

Re: Revolutionary Idler arm

You should send me one and I'll give it a run for its money on my '94 that is getting built up this weekend. And plus see how it handles the xtreme cold up here in ND(-50 without windchill, and our mall and stores stay open too, LOL)

Re: Revolutionary Idler arm

Well I already have someone testing it. I am waiting for him to go on at least one more test with it then I will more than comfortable to go into production. Its currently being tested on a zr2 blazer with 5" BDS 33's and a front locking differential.

I'd pay for it but I'm just not shelling out $200 to test a product, plus my truck isnt as extreme as the one he's got testing it. But to each there own. I'd probably order one when its in production when I need to replace mine anyway.

Re: Revolutionary Idler arm

yeah... i'd have to know a price before i commit. also awaiting test results. surprisingly my moog has lasted quite long.. about 2 years now.. probably because i haven't wheeled it at all in the last year. would also have to know if its a direct bolt on for a firstgen.

Re: Revolutionary Idler arm

the thread on zr2usa he states approximately $120. From what I remember, 1st and 2nd gen both use the same idler arm, so this should be a direct fit for 1st gen as well.

Re: Revolutionary Idler arm

For some reason I cannot figure out how to edit my post. I have been updating the zr2usa post a little more than this one because of it. Yes the price will be $120 and Kristian came back from his latest trip with pictures and videos of the testing he did. By weeks end he should have up a video of a close up of the idler arm with the vehicle off the ground to show that it is still good as new.
