Re: lets see your LIFTED ifs rigs

Yeah they finally make them that little, from what i hear they are replacing the whole km line with the new tire. I dont know how capable my blazer will be, it has 3.42's in it, i think it should be alright turning the 32's. My biggest goal is to shut my buddy's mouth who has a heep on 33's and gives me h**L for having to pull out my stock lift with all terrain tires blazer. I believe doing this stuff will give me a better angle and off roading abilities.

Re: lets see your LIFTED ifs rigs

My dad has a set of 37" KM2's on his Dodge and I absolutely love 'em. Very good road manners, seems like they are going to wear good and they are surprisingly quite. If they get a little cheaper by the time I wear out my PJ's I might have to try out a set of 38x14.50's.

Re: lets see your LIFTED ifs rigs

I would love to try a set of KM2's out. But I dont think they're sidewall would hold up to my driving style.I blew one of the sidewalls out on my last set of BFG MT's. They're a great tire but they just wont hold up for aggressive offroading.

Right now Im missing a couple whole lugs and I got a few bad cuts in my Swampers that I know wouldve destroyed any radial tire. But they're still kickin somehow.

The KM2's have a thicker and stronger sidewall than the KM's.

Theres a set of 35x14.5-15 Boggers on Craigslist in the scranton/wilkes-barre area with rims. I think they said that they were about 75%. You could buy them and sell the rims to recoup some of the money. I think they were $800 for the set.

Yeah, but still not as thick as a Swamper. Dont get me wrong, they're great tires for a DD or weekend warrior. But they just dont hold up to aggressive wheeling on sharp rocks. If my DD was 4wd it would definitely have a set on it. I loved my BFG's, they hooked up great (they actually hooked up better than my Swampers on loose dirt and rocks), rode good on the roads, and they are a sharp lookin tire all cleaned up, but the sidewalls are just too weak for a strictly trail rig.

There ya go. Sell the rims and the claws and you'll damn near make all your money back. Figure you could sell the rims for around $300 and your tires for $200 or more. Then your only paying $300 for 35 boggers with over 75% tread. The way I see it is, you cant afford not to

heres the listing

Doors are starting to pop where i repaired them about 5 years ago, and the rockers that were patched are starting to pop a bit, I have a mint set of doors to put on it this winter and have to pick up a set of rockers as long as i get my other Blazer together soon so i can park it for the winter. Thanks for the compliments.
