4WD Problems
I have a 2000 s10, 6cyl, 5sp Friday I used 4wd low and it worked fine, blew a brake line that afternoon and fixed it that night. Today I went to put the truck in 4wd and the indicator light on the putton was lit, but no front wheel power. even in 4lo, still nothing. Pulled it in the garage and i can hear the motor on the tcase shifting when i push the 2 and 4 buttons. When its in 4 I can not spin the front driveshaft. Thought maybe it was the vacuum actuator for the front diff. Took out the battery and pan, jacked up the front end and manually pulled in the cable while spinning the tires, the diff engaged and they spun opposite directions. Release the actuator and they went back to freewheel. I pushed the 4hi button, the 4hi light was on, put the truck in gear and then pulled the actuator in and i could Still spin the front tires. So i zip tied the actuator in so the diff was engaged and drove it, still no front wheel power. I am completly lost as to what it might be, thought it would be the vacuum actuator but now i have no clue. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!!!!!

Re: 4WD Problems
Maybe the motor on your t-case is messed up? That would seem the next logical thing
