does anyone have any secret website or anything?
ive looked at ebay, but i cant find any fabtechs for under 400...

what other brands do you all like and where do u see them / buy them from?

Nothing wrong with the ones i linked too. Quite a few on here are running those including myself with NO PROBLEMS.
Do a little search on here and you'll find the comparison.

Re: spindle hunting

You probably wont find any new Fabtech spindles for less then four bills. Maybe some used ones for less. Aim spindles are every bit as good as fabtech for half the price. Think of them as the store brand can of beans vs the "name" brand beans, whats the differeance...The label. The money you'd pay more towards the fabtech spindles could be used towards brakelines or tires.

Re: spindle hunting

how much off roading do you guys do with your AIM spindles, ive heard that theres really no physical difference between them but i constantly hear people talk about how easily they break, can i get some input from ppl that acctually run them? ive heard the bolt holes dont line up all the time too.

Re: spindle hunting

get the brakelines from matt at baja customs. they are like 100 bucks, but they are the shit.

and aim spindles prolly arent gonna brake dude... but they only push the wheels out about an inch, where as procomp and fabtechs go about 1.5-2" out, and they are a lil beefier..

Re: spindle hunting

yea. i installed my AIM spindles about 2 weeks ago. No Problems what so ever. Went mudding with them no problems at all. Also they installed in about 2.5 to 3 hours for both sides so they basicly bolt up. the hard part was taking all my rusted shit off the new spindles when on in about 10 min.

silverstonemr* This is the seller i got them from. What i did was email him and ask him if i could get them 3 inches longer. I got mine back end of may.
Took 3 days from canada to get them. Mine do have the stock type ends. I see his pics now show a different end. Dont know if he switched or if its a reference pic. Just email them and ask. Ive also got them on my 4wd jimmy. No problems on either truck.
I paid 35 for the set on my jimmy and 30 for the 2wd extended set. Got the extended set cheaper cause only got the fron 2 and didnt go through ebay. They made them and sent me a paypal invoice.

Re: spindle hunting

How many times are we going to mow this lawn. AIM is every bit as good as fabtech. I am running them on my prerunner x 6 years, not a truck with a BL that someone thinks is a prerunner just because it is lifted, but a Dezert truck. Look at my avatar, that is the norm. My dezert truck has been awarded Airborne Wings. Go with AIM and they will not do you wrong, I promise

YUP, YUP, it is always said "someone told me......" or "I heard....." but no one could ever produce a pics. Red Baron squashed the rumor about breaking AIM spindles about 3 years ago

Re: spindle hunting

Aim is as good as Fabtech, look in sticky above.

I got stainless steel brakelines from local brake/hydralic/fitting shop that got it made for $60, waited 5 minute for guy to make the pair and I'm off.
