Re: questions about how to do a body lift
BLs are cake, read the instructions and do it.
Best sock is gonna depend on who answers, as many shock companies out there and as many people have their own choice and nobody ever agrees on the same thing all the time. |

Re: questions about how to do a body lift
I was surprised when I did my BL, 22 years of living in the rust belt and they all came out fine. The biggest 2 bad ones were over the rear axle on the blazer and thats cause I couldn't get the impact in there.
Still got the factory shocks on mine. |

Re: questions about how to do a body lift
you could also do moog 5664 springs (cs5664s) in the front and either shackles or a add a leaf in the rear the springs go for an average of about $70 and shackle anywhere from $20 to $70 and i think a aal is like $40.
most people say bilstein 5100's for shocks but i just ran autozone shocks on mine and liked them. |

Re: questions about how to do a body lift
FCS5664S is the proper part number.
Body lift is easy, do 1 side at a time on cab. As for shocks, Bilstein 5100 is way to go. Part store shock are OK, as long you buy it from there that has lifetime warranty. |

Re: questions about how to do a body lift
On the first gens it gives a diagram on a part of the floor that needs to be trimmed out.
