pics of 33x10.50's
Can some of you with 33x10.50x15's post some pics of your trucks from the front and rear. Id like to see some shots like that. thinking since its about time for new tires, maybe going with a 33x10.50 instead of 33x12.50.

Re: pics of 33x10.50's
Probably do a MT. Right now i have MTs on the back and ATs on the front. Ive been riding on these about 4-5 months. I dont really want to ride them through the winter. They were a 25 dollar set of tires.

Re: pics of 33x10.50's
Do you guys think the 33x10.50 would fit with just a 3" spindle, 3 " BL and 2 or 3 " shackle with going back to SUA. Or maybe Keeping the soa and using a 2" drop leaf. Kind of want to get a better ride. Wife really complains.

Re: pics of 33x10.50's
Im thinking about going with the 33x10.50's and putting the stock coils back in. Leaving with just the 3" BL , 3"spindles and the fendres are already trimmed back 2".

Re: pics of 33x10.50's
Not a lot went with 33x10.50, other alternate is 32s, if this is just daily, then 33x10 woiuld be good for you, reduce little tire weight and less rubbing to worry about.
I say go back to SUA with lift shackles(from GMR or Baja Customs). |

Re: pics of 33x10.50's
Yeah im really thinkingof doing 33x10.50's. Mostly all i will do is street drive anyways. Just dont want it to look funny if tires are too skinny.

Re: pics of 33x10.50's
Glad you mentioned about the MT vs AT tires. Yeah i guess i should probably stick with AT's. I know i will rarely if ever go off roading. If i do itll be real small mudding. More pics now?

Re: pics of 33x10.50's
Dont listen go M/T. its a light truck there not gonna wear out super fast. You only live once right? make it look badass. TOYO open countrys M/T or the KUMHO road venture M/T kl71 would look killer. not sure if they come in 10.5 width tho.

Re: pics of 33x10.50's
Completely depends on the tire if a Mud tire will wear out before an AT. Some mud tires are a real soft rubber and wear like no other. Others are pretty long wearing. From what I have seen personaly Goodyears and Cooper stt's wear pretty quick and some swampers. BFG's both MT/AT(as well as rugged and long trail), bridgestone's, cooper st all terrians, sport and mud kings all tend to wear longer.
My brother in law ran a set of BFG Mud terrians for 55k miles on one of his work trucks and there was still tread left. He plows in the winter and pulls a bobcat and 14 foot dump trailer everyday for his business. I was impressed they held up that long on a 4 door 3/4 ton truck that is "used" everyday. "Mud King" tires are also a great mud terrian type tire with awesome wear. I know a few people running them and the "Sport King at version. The Mud King/Sport King are kinda like a "knock off" brand so they are much less then the cost of the name brand stuff. |

Re: pics of 33x10.50's
yea. id recomend the procomp xtreme a/t. i know every one on here says stay away from pro comp but all in all they are a great tire. I have 7 friends all with them in a 35x13.5 on there lifted trucks and they wear great and have never thrown a tooth or had any trouble with them. I dont belive there very expensive either. i know for a set of 31s they were like 130 a tire and i paid close to 165 for my mickey thompsons. But they look killer.
wheels and tires make or break a truck so its a big decison in my book |

Re: pics of 33x10.50's
dont go M/T. go with an A/T. you see mostly street so you know a M/T would be the best for you. I currently run the bfg a/t's and ive had them for about 6 months. I see all street and honestly they look the same from the day i bought them. If you rotate them correcrly, they will last forever. bfg a/t's all the way

Re: pics of 33x10.50's
Ill probably go with something economical in a 33x10.50. I dont think theres as many choices. I was going to go with daytom timberlines 33x12.50x15. Those are just under 600 mounted and all. Still may stick with 12.50's hopefully decide with in the month. Still looking for some straigh front pics with 33x10.50's though to help me decide.

Heres a rear shot with the 33x12.50 MTs on mine now. just wondering if a 10.50 will look too narrow.

True, it does depend what MT use due to rubber compound but as well as roads you drive on.

Re: pics of 33x10.50's
The daytons are just under 600 mounted and balanced with tax and all that stuff. Probably keep one of the better old tires for a size match spare. Hope to get the new tires by the end of the month. |

By the way i saw a good deal on a set of 33x14.50X15 on craigslist. Look nice for 250. No way they would fit the front.

Re: pics of 33x10.50's
lol yea there realy wide. I had the dayton timberlines on my stock s10 wheels that i ran in the winter they were realy good in the snow. i drove home from school on day after a blizzard and there was still about 8 inches of snow on the roads and had no problem getting home or up the drive way with about 3 70lbs sand bags in the bed

Are those Remington Mud Brutes you've got now? I've got a set of 1/2 tread 33x12.5 Brutes in storage but they won't fit on mine without at trimming.

Far as I know bfg and interco r the only ones that offer a tall and skinny tire(33x10.5). i gave a friend a set of old style timberlines for his 3/4 ton van they lasted 60k with a little life left. i ran them on my s till i fixed the frount end than went back to mudds. gust dont get dikoda ats ul get suck on wet aspholt. |

Re: pics of 33x10.50's
Yeah i was thinking there arent alot of choices on 33x10.50's. I think im going with the dayton timberline ATs in a 33xs12.50x15. I can get them for just undr 600 new with all the mounting and all that jazz.
The MTs i have on the rear now have about 15% tread. Its been raing the past few days and i cant get traction hardly at all. |

Although a different type tire. I have dayton tires on my caravan for the past year and they have workedout nicely. Especially for the cost. |

You will need 3" lift. Body lift or suspension. BL is cheaper. Just dont do springs. You probably wont like it.
