Re: Lifted Extreme
you could do a brake swap, for s10 brakes, so you can run the lift spindle,

Re: Lifted Extreme
UPDATE! Ok so my mechanic took the drop blocks out of the rear and put the moog 5664 coils up front and says its sitting level. Now i have no idea how the kid lowered the front i assumed coils but i guess spindles. So he said hes not gonna install the shackles cause it wont sit level. Now i think i take the cake with the most odd suspension setup with the truck sitting level - zq8 leafs, drop spindles and moog 5664 coils lol FML. Now since i need to replace the spindles these are the two options i have and i was looking for some guidance. This is the route im looking towards (either way the zq8 leafs are goin back to stock blazer ones) - replace drop spindles with stock 2wd blazer spindles and install the shackles or s10 brake conversion, lift spindles, add-a-leaf, and my shackles. I still need to install my 2in body lift but if i go with just the stock blazer spindles and the shackles what size tire would i be able to run without any major trimming?

Re: Lifted Extreme
![]() Also i need some advice for the rear bumper. I have one of 3 options. -I can cut the skirts off the one on it now so i can keep the flare goin but i dont kno how good that will look and i dont kno how to round out where i cut it. -Replace it with a stock ls white bumper. -Roll pan. (This is what im leaning towards but idk how good it will look on a lift truck.) Last edited by Fortunat72 : 10-03-2009 at 04:48 PM. |

Re: Lifted Extreme
PICS!
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I need to get rid of the extreme kit on the back sides and that dumb exhaust tip but it was right up against the bumper prior to the BL so u can see how much it lifted. still have to install 2in lift shackles and stock spindles up front. Re: Lifted Extreme
well the reason the front doesnt line up (fender and bumper) is because of the xtreme front valance lines up with the xtreme fender flares. once you remove the flares or install an xtreme valance it will line up again.

To sell it, you would have to undo everything you just did.
