How big?
ok i got a 96 ext. Cab sonoma with 4.3 and 5speed, and am going to start gettin all my parts in very soon and was wondering if i could fit 32x11.50-15 tire with 7" of lift and very little trimming? The parts im getting are
3" spindles 2" coils 3" lift shackle 2" bodylift This will sit my truck even. Along with a set of 5100s And my wheels are 15x8 with 3.75bs. And ive got a set of 1.25 spacer for the front and a 3 for the rear. Thank yall for your time. |

Re: How big?
those tires are gonna sit wayyyy out with the spacers and low BS. I have 4 inch BS and no spacers and the fronts stick out a good inch in a half. youll prob have 3 inches of tire sticking out all around

Re: How big?
Nothing wrong with tires sticking out, itll help reduce rubs, and with wider stance will help handling stability.

Re: How big?
yea i never said there was anything wrong with it. im getting spacers for the rear of mine so they sit out the same as the front.
any way do you realy need the 2 inch spacers to get them to clear. id think it would rub the fender closest to the cab then because the tires piviting out further.... Id rather rub frame then that. but im no expert |

Re: How big?
Actually, I never tried the 33x12.50's on the front without spacers. I just knew when i had 235/75/15's on stock wheels, the just brushed the frame. I saw alot of guys had spacers with 33's, so i never tried with out. maybe ill do that this week and pull the front spacers out and see.

Re: How big?
You'll need spacer to clear frame from 12.50"w, unless you have LT with spindle lift(Fabtech gives 2" wider per side, Aim gives 1" wider per side). Also the wider the rim and lower backspacing helps, stock is 15x7 with 4", if you get 15x8 with 4" that's .5" extended per side, and any lower = wider as well as wider rim and same or lower bs = wider stance to clear away from frame. Without LT and spacer, you will rub with 12.50 3" spindle clear for fender but it'll hit inner fender, but if you hit bump and turn you'll hit fender a bit. 922drJimmy, you don't need to remove spacer, just measure space length and minus 2" from straight and full right/left turn to get clearance idea with 2" less. That'll save you time from taking it on and off. |

Re: How big?
Do you think with a 33x10.50 Id need the spacer on front. Yeah i know they would rub frame bad with out. Right now with the spacers i lightly rub the frame at full lock. So no since in trying it without them. I didnt realize the spinldes i have were 1" wider either. Thought i compared to stock ones but maybe i didnt compare. |

Re: How big?
I had no rubbing issue other than full lock with 10.50 width on 3" Aim spindle, you have wider rim with less backspacing, I doubt you'll rub except full lock to frame, but you can keep the spacer for width if you like.
