easiest lift?

I have a 2000 2WD S10 Ext. Cab. I wana raise it a few inches maybe 2" or 3" just to give it a better look. Whats the easiest and most affordable way to achieve this? I was looking at a 2" inch body lift for $200. Would that work? And also, does anyone have any pics of the look i'm trying to achieve? Thanks in advanced!

Re: easiest lift?

Welcome to the site. One thing you want to do before you ask a question on here is search the site using search button at the top. Alot of members will flame the stuffing out of you if you ask questions like this that have been covered a hundred times. You are on the righ track of the easiest and cheapest way.
Heres a link to the body lift you need alot cheaper. Then search on the few basic things to be able to use it.

Re: easiest lift?

Welcome to the forum. I can also suggest a 2nd opinion of lift spindle, 3" up front and $237 shipped, done quicker than body lift install.

Look into 2wd lifting pics thread for all pics, parts done to achieve the lift.

Re: easiest lift?

x2 on the spindle lift. IMO it looks better then a body lift and you can do it relativley fast.

Yes spindles are the easiest. BL is the cheapest.

Re: easiest lift?

If you buy 98+ version with bumper bracket then better to spend $37 more for spindle and quick front lift.

But you'll need alignment after that.

I'd still recommend spindle lift first because you can control your lift after that(in case you want 1", 2" ,3" bl or 2" coil and wait til it settle to align it).

If you get 1st gen then it's cheaper butull have to work something out for bumper bracket.
