door latch
okay i bought a suicide door kit with the bear claw latches and protocol door kit. so i finished up my install after several months i finally finished the truck and put it on the road 2 days ago. so heres my problem. the passenger side door latch isnt locking on the bottom latch! the popper is sticking a little bit but that doesnt really bother me but the latch is a huge issue the door is very hard to shut with onl the top half of the latch working. is there anyway to fix this? i am going to a show this sunday and i dont want to look like an ass when i cant get my door to stay shut! or have it fly open goin down the highway. i need help fast.

Re: door latch
so i went to the show today! i thought i had the latch straightened out it was working great all day for the most part. until after the show i was doing 55 down the road hit a little bump and my door flew open and wrecked my cab door jamb and may have to redo th ewhole hinge set up. the problem is the lock in the rear of the latch is not engaging fully on the lower latch hit a little bump and it will pop the top latch. i finished the 1.5 hour drive with no door panel and a piece of rope tied to my seat to hold the door shut!

Re: door latch
i found the order it is from December of last year, the latches have a 90 day warranty from the manufacturer. they will not warranty them because of them being that old. i can get you anouther set for a discounted price though. give me a call here and ill see what i can do. 877-334-2843

Re: door latch
Is the latch catching the door stiker dead center? Ive seen a issue before on OE latches if the striker was just a tad off.
