Re: anybody remember this truck?

yea, there was a thread about it. it was flipped upside down on a curvy road, with rock walls around it i think

Re: anybody remember this truck?

if some one could find that thread for me that would be great!

anyway, it wasnt dark and it wasnt rainy and the road wasnt all that curvy. he was come along the river, and on the pass side as he was coming down there was, pretty much a big cliff wall... from what i understand he looked down and as soon as he looked back up, he was heading off the road, and theres no burm, maybe 1 ft til the rocks, and when his rims hit the side of the road, it just grabbed it and flung him into the rocks... flipped upside down, slip like 200 ft on the roof right down the center of the road...

fucked up thing was the sunroof never broke, and when he came to a stop, he tried kicking the windshield out to get out, then he opened the door, the doors still opened upside down far enough to let him out, and as u can see from the pics theyr lambos, and those hinges are now on the new truck in prefect working condition...

Re: anybody remember this truck?

ha, yea im the one that posted the blazinlow thread about it back when it happend.

and from what i read in that other one thread... he didnt hit a rock in the road, he wasnt dragging, he was just driving normally. actually i think he had just finished detailing his truck to tell ya the truth. and he didnt come close to hitting a gaurd rail either, he hit the cliffs and slid down the middle of the road on his roof, and when i say middle. i mean there were red lines from the roof digging in straight down the center lines lol...

and whats flipping the truck have to do with the lambos? they still worked even when the truck was upside down. i know im not much of a ford guy either, but that truck was badass for a ford. and i cant wait til the news done!

It was a shame it didn't make it into the magazine. It was a nice truck minus the doors! Can't wait to see the new one.

Re: anybody remember this truck?

no he wasnt hurt, actually he didnt even have a scratch on him.

and it did make it in to the mag, thats what the pix were of that i posted at the top of the thread, and theres actually a pic of us from the carlisle truck nats in in this months mag under "pics from carlisle 07" or w.e it says, which is where the photoshoot took place.

and yes those doors are on the new one, and im not much of a fan of them either, but they look good cuz the new truck is extended cab with the rear opening doors. plus they open out like a normal door and then go up.

Just wanted to clear the air on the information I posted about the accident. I got my info from a guy who worked with him and just assumed it to be true. Sorry for any confusion.
