i can get a deal on some 42lb injectors off a mustang

You would have to modify the hold downs for the fuel rails as they Mustang ones are a but taller than the smaller OE truck injectors.

thats easy i would just have to put spacers. what about the size of the top and bottom??? and plug?

if you want a set of 42s for your truck intake I think the 8.1L injectors are the right size. I know the 42's from ford fit on ls1/la6 style intakes since thats what i'm running on my build.

The connection is different as well as the height. You can get spacers and a connection to swap between the truck/LS2 style injector at the following, but if your needing more fuel, you probably need to swap intakes any way. Usually guys use these parts to use LS6 or Ford Injectors on an LS2 ported intake.
