I finaly got around to calling paceperformance today friggin ls2 corvette pan is 320. No gasket tubes pickup nothing dernit this sucks here goes an unexpected 450

well i the engine back in after i painted the frame and stuff. my air intake, radiator, and a few other little things came. the wiring is almost finished so i should hear it run in the next day or so. im driving up to summit this weekend to get some exhaust stuff and a few fittings and fuel line. so hopefully i will have the thing going by the end of the weekend if everything goes as planned.

well its close coming out but there is a little bit of room.. ill get a better pic tomorrow for u. thats one of the reasons i had to notch the cross member.

well i thought i would give a update. the truck is pretty much done.. im finishing up the exhaust tomorrow and as soon is my russell fittings get here i will bring the thing to life. i went up to summit saturday morning only to be disappointed that they didnt have the fittings in stock. i ordered them and now waiting. ill post some pics in a little while.

yeah shes getting there.. it took a little longer than i wanted it to. but i didnt cut any corners and everything should be right.. i just tracked my ups and my fittings will be here tomorrow. ill be riding by the weekend.

im still running the factory pump right now. but im plannin to switch to a walbro in the next couple of weeks.. and i have a video but i dont know how to put it on the computer.

well i got the truck all back together. i still got to figure out a few wiring issues but it runs. haha ill post up some new pics tomorrow.. i used that new magnaflow dual in dual out muffler with the x pipe built in..

any way for everyone planning on doing this swap just know that theres a lot more involved than some people say.. i ran into several problems along the way but in the end its all worth it.

well it really wasnt to bad.. the only part that we are having problems with is the fuel guage... but by the weekend we will have it all working right.. i took the truck out on the streets for the first time tonight. it ran great but, it has been raining all day here so i really didnt play with it much.. ill post up some more pics tomorrow and ill get the exhuast pics too..

heres the truck in its current state. its pretty much all back together. i have to finish a few little wiring things and clean up the harness. and then its on the to a/c stuff..

theres alot that goes into swapping one of these engines in.. its not for everyone in my opinion.. and u have to be very patient, read, study and ask questions.. every truck is different and theres just small things that u come up on along the way.. i think everything that could mess up or go wrong, did during mine. from gettin a kidney stone to missing parts or not the right parts. to dealing with stupid people at the parts stores all around.. so just take your time and make sure everything is right and be sure to get all the parts u think u need before starting the swap.. i have a folder that has all the stuff i needed, little sketches that i drew to design different things and receipts. thats about the best advise i can give..

well i built all this by end using 2.5" u bends and a couple pieces of straight.. i have the new dynamax muffler with the x pipe built in w/ turn downs.. heres the pics.

the place where i bought mine sells the complete 6 speed swaps for $3500..

sweet truck, is there a reason you ran your exhaust like stock? you have all that room under there without the truck gas tank. i think I would have just ran duals with an x pipe or h pipe.
