I'm working on the long tubes now. They are made, but I have to smooth the tig welds down. Then I'll send them to jet hot(2 week turn around). Waiting on the harness also. Waiting on the front bumper cover mirrors, rollpan and flares to be painted. So basically I'm waiting. Got the SS emblems on and the h3 console in(waiting on the arm rest). Here is a pic of the SLP airbox.

Re: Finally got my LSx S-10!!

I ve been keeping up on that colorado build as well. I emailed a few weeks ago about a t-56/ls1 swap into my dime and I have my t-56 now. When would be the earliest I could bring my truck down for the swap?

Very very nice, I like the way that you make Colorado's!!! Those wheels really set the truck off right. Is this one up for sale? Or is it spoken for already?

i am not going to say how much he has said to me because i dont want to say something then he has had a change of heart or finally sit down and added up the costs, then kinda put him in a obligation situation. but what he has said to me is ABSOLUTELY worth the money. once you add up the cost of the truck, engine, harness, intake, brakes, wheels, bumper, paint, engine accessory brackets, headers, exhaust, and everything you can think of, i fail to see how he is making any money on it, and that doesnt include his time into it, the way i added everything up, he was LOSING money. unfortunately my pocket cannot take a hit like that right now , i want this truck so fucking bad, its just nasty!!! v8power, wanna setup a payment plan? lol

I looked under the hood of a parts delivery truck the other day. Yes, the Colorado had tons of room. The frame rails are much wider than the S10. The steering is rack and pinion. The crossmember is non existent. Made me want to sell the the V8 s10 and build a Colorado. Only because I could put real headers in there and build a real motor.

Re: v8powers's Colorado SS update??

bad thing about the Colorado is that the rotors are in-between the spindle and the hub. Can be a bitch to pull em apart. I just bought a canyon that was wrecked and was not excited when i saw that. I would put a v8 in there but two v8 trucks does not go good with gas prices!!
