Using LS6 intake with truck accsessories

I just got a flat floor LS6 intake for my 5.3, and im sure we all know about the idler pulley that parks it's ass right in front of the throttle opening when using the LS6 intake. I forgot the name of the company but isn't there someone out there who makes a kit to relocate the pulley?

Thanks

the truck water pump wont work without modification and the steam vent lines need to be modded or changed

People are using the L92 water pump with this swap, it gets everything out of the way. Then you still need to move the idler, Speartech has stopped making the bracket last I had heard.

Sorry to intrude, but what about the injectors? You need the car type right? So the ECU will need to be reflashed right? Thanks!

It shouldn't need re-tuned for it, if its stock truck intake to stock l76...but the injector plugs need to be changed too

Re: Using LS6 intake with truck accsessories

From my understanding you have to get it retuned. I talked to jared about my set up he said he had to change up the fuel maps or something and its not the same plug on the harness for the injectors. Thats just straight from jared but i dunno

Re: Using LS6 intake with truck accsessories

Thanks for all the help so far. I do have the correct fuel rail but I still need injectors. Are all LS injectors the same or close #/hr rating or is there certain ones im looking for? I am running an LS6 cam as well and the ECU has already been flasshed for it. Can CP wiring make my harness with the car plugs instead of the truck style?

Re: Using LS6 intake with truck accsessories

Ok so how close does the throttle spool come to the water neck when using the 5.3 pump and cable TB? I don't have a cable TB on hand, but from what you guys are saying it won't clear. Can you verify this?
