Upgrade for my ls6 and t56
Hi!!!
Looking for some more power from my stock ls6 and t56 swap.For now,i need a new clutch kit,i will go with the oem ls7 kit.http://www.sdparts.com/product/SDLS7...cFlywheel.aspx Need to refresh my t56,i will go with stage 2 from http://www.tick-performance.com/tick...ackages/fbody/ I was also thinking about a cam,heads and intake.This is where i need your help for sugestions. It might help if you could provide a little more information.
How do you use the truck? Street, street/strip, strip only What rear gears? What tire diameter? Do you need to be concerned about the trucks emissions? Are you wanting something really radical or something with good daily driver manners? Do you have a budget or are you just taking a "swag" at ideas? |

I just got done doing rebuilds on 2 t56's with basically the same set up as tick-perf stage 2. It makes a world of difference with the shifting and durabilty. I would reccommend doing the billet keys, bronze fork pads and carbon fiber blocker rings to anyone with a t56.
Also, did you look at tick performances polluter cam? A buddy of mine has one and It makes real good power. It drives really well now that he had it tuned by somone who knew what they were doing. |
