I would also like to hear the stock numbers before you tuned it?

What nitrous kit are you using?

Unfortunatly the truck was never dyno'd stock. I had the tune done before I got it on the dyno for the most part. I basicly just dialed in the Air fuel on the dyno so I am not 100% sure where it would have baselined. The truck uses a modified NOS05168 plate kit with an FJO progressive controller.

Sounds like a nice setup I was going to start my swap within the next week or two but now I'm searching for the same cam you have in your father's truck. I suppose now is the time to put a cam in it when its on the engine stand vs. installed in the truck.

dang nice numbers. i think (according to my friend with a 5.3 2000 silverado) they make like 280fly wheel hp, so that is a huuuuge gain (figuring whp is around 230-240 factory)

Isn't that the cam you used on your 5.3 for a while X?? From what I hear a lot of the comp cams are good for streetable power (1500-5000 rpm's) compared to the GMPP ZO6 or hot cams........i can't say but i have a feeling X you have tested quite a few of them.

I had that cam in my 5.3L Correct, Its still in my old 5.3L in the Cleanest First gen blazer you'd probably ever come across.

The cam I used is a great all around cam for a 5.3L
