Towing capacity can it handle 5500lbs

I was thinking aboiut using my extended cab to tow with every now and then. I will be running the 6.0 with a 350 trans 12 bolt with a 4.10 gear. the only thing i may change is the spool in the rear end. I know the motor will have plenty of power I don't know if the truck chassis can handle it.

I believe that it's rated at around 6,000 stock

I'd recommend upgrading the brakes, a class 3 hitch and "newer" tires.

definitely need brake upgrade or use a trailer that has brakes on it.
