Re: TCI 6x 6Speed AutoTrans
it would be nice if along with it came a supercharger or something to make it worth 6k! but its an awesome trans with the ratio spread!

Re: TCI 6x 6Speed AutoTrans
sweet, i was just going to say that. theyve had these "six speed" 4l80e's for awhile. the paddle shifting option is pretty sweet

Re: TCI 6x 6Speed AutoTrans
It's too bad that 1st and 4th O/D ratios are the same as the stock 4L80 trans.
If they had expanded the range, now THAT would be something! |

I wonder how hard it would be to use the 6 speed auto from a G8....

Re: TCI 6x 6Speed AutoTrans
I talked to few guys that have used the 80E in Dimes and they said it fit no problem..but the controller is apparently the issue

no im talking about the 6l80e out of a G8, its wider and taller i believe, but a bit shorter than a 60e.

Re: TCI 6x 6Speed AutoTrans
I think I looked this up a couple months ago and came across a board that said there were problems with this trans. I don't see how seeing TCI is building them. I'd love to have a paddle shift car

Re: TCI 6x 6Speed AutoTrans
i saw a lot of that too, but when i would search for the 6l60e, there was a lot of info on new camaros, the G8, etc...even some fullsize trucks. i tried finding a link those GM sites that talk about the powertrain components but didnt find anything.

Re: TCI 6x 6Speed AutoTrans
I know that this is a LSA motor and not a L76 but it has a 6spd Auto attched to it.... The casing does look like a beast...
