STS turbo kit on a swap'd LS1???
hey a while back i saw a guy who had an LS1 or LS6 (cant remember) in his s10 and had an sts style turbo kit, i was wondering if that was a custom job or if he bought the ls1 sts turbo kit and then just changed some piping?
he had some big slicks on the back and it was red, if anyone could answer my question it would most apreciated- ALSO what sized turbo do you guys usually use on an LS1? i was thinking a MASTER POWER GT45 turbo.... but.... any help would be appreciated. thanks |

STS makes a universal kit. I think that is what was used.

Re: STS turbo kit on a swap'd LS1???
I'm think he used an f-body kit and pretty much made the pipes work,or made his own.I actually called sts and asked them the same thing and they said they could work with it. So they will sell you a "universal kit" which basically means you get everything but the pipes which doesn't do me any good. It would be just as easy and actually cheaper to make your own from scratch if you can bend or fab your own pipes.
