Re: Starting the swap of a 5.3 in my noma

update,

we put the inner fender, the fender, the hood, we work on the wire, we fit the gaz pedal

i'm going to reflash my computer next week. To finish i have a question for you. when we close the hood we see that this part of the intake, are very very close to the hood. so i want to know if i can bought a smaller one? it is dangerous if it rubs a little bit ?

Re: Starting the swap of a 5.3 in my noma

you can also relocate it with some minor modification. there is a hole on the side right next to where that one is, just plug the old one and tap a hole for the screw that holds it in.

Re: Starting the swap of a 5.3 in my noma

i got my new exhaust today. but i got a problem went it was the time to put the truck on the trailler, to come back home. the engine was cranking but don't want to start, so we push it on the trailer. i check it back at home and i see that he got no fuel but i was listning the pump working. So i take off the pump from the fuel tank and i see that the hose inside the tank blow up. I want to know if somebody got this problem ?

Re: Starting the swap of a 5.3 in my noma

Hi, I need a info. The guys who keep the stock 4.3 fuel pump what do you make to regulate the fuel pressure because the 5.3 don't have a fuel return like the 4.3. so i was thinking to buy a fuel regulator for a 5.3 silverado. that a good way to do it ? ore do you have something easyer or cheaper
